Brownmantrips’ First Anniversary!

Today we celebrate our first year anniversary of becoming a travel blog.

Blogging has opened up a lot of opportunities for me ever since I focused on making my blogs better and it would not have been possible if I was not talked into actually getting my own domain, well thanks to Doi of The Travelling Feet and Ed of Solo Flight Ed.

Throughout the year that was for brownmantrips, I was able to start Solo Traveling here and abroad. I also got to meet more of the members of the travel blogging community who are the funnest of them all!

I have been writing online ( well you can call it blogging but it was just more of an online journal for me) since 2006, never have I thought that it could come up to this stage where you actually benefit more than what you expect from blogging (aside from being my therapy) as on its first year Brownmantrips actually paid for its own. To maintain a self hosted blog actually requires some money so I am really glad that it actually made some for its self. I don’t actually earn my living from blogging (though it would be great if I could) but I am more than happy for having my sites self sufficient.

I guess the best part of blogging is meeting friends from every where. nothing beats that.

As for some who ask what do i mean about my tagline, I think this video from a soda company says it well.

As Brownmantrips sails through its second year I hope that I could meet on the road who ever gets to read my adventures. Again thank you too all of you who support brownmantrips! =)
